Just The Girl




no matter how fiercely i try to live like an adult--flexible, powerful, and independent, this girl-child on me hangs on, whispering frightening warnings in my ear..

fragile, unarmored creature and self-doubting

i have a paradoxical personality..inside my silent-aleck exterior was a revengeful woman, disturbed by the fact that people judge me according to their own perspective..not knowing that i can be a fighter, and would slog through its muddiest parts undaunted..


i have this trait called "WHOLEHEARTEDNESS"--the ability to be without pretense, to be emotionally sincere, to be able to put the whole of oneself into one's feelings, one's work and one's beliefs...

i rant, rave, and scream and i live without regrets..

It takes me awhile to cross a street. I only cross when the coast is clear —literally no vehicle on the road. So back in high school, my friends would hold me while crossing a street because I have the tendency to freeze in the middle and they would end up dragging me away from the road.

~same here. I don’t know how to cross a street. :D
